[중국] 담수화 플랜트 용량 16% 증가

정부 발표에 따르면 중국의 담수화 플랜트 용량이 작년에 약 16% 증가했다. 감소하는 수자원 대응을 위한 담수화 플랜트 건설 프로그램에 따라 국가는 담수화 용량은 하루 125,500에서 900,800로 확장했다고 밝혔다. 

플랜트의 대부분은 해변도시지역과 물이 부족한 섬에 위치하고 있으며 주로 도시 북부지역에 산업용수와 남부지역에 가정용수로 공급되고 있다. 중국의 북부 지역인 톈진, 허베이, 산둥지방이 최대 담수화 용량을 보유하고 있다.

China increased its desalination plant capacity by about 16% last year, according to a government statement this month.

Following a programme of desalination plant construction in response to dwindling water resources, the country upped its capacity by 125,500 m/d to about 900,800 m?d, the government's State Oceanic Administration said. Costs are about 5-8 yuan/m  (US$ 0.81/m the administration said.

Most of the plants were in coastal cities and islands lacking water. The statement said desalinated water will mainly be supplied to industries in the north of the country and homes in the south, the administration said. China's northern city of Tianjin, and Hebei and Shandong provinces, now have the most desalination capacity, according to the administration.
