[두바이] 대규모 전력 및 담수화 플랜트 입찰 연장

두바이의 국유시설이 M-Station 전력 생산 및 담수화 플랜트 확장 프로젝트의 입찰 마감일을 10월 15일까지 연장한다고 발표했다.

두바이 전력 및 수도청의 최고 운영자는 " 확장 프로젝트는 새로운 전력 생산 시설을 포함하며 2018년까지 현재 용량에 600㎿를 추가 할 계획이다. 또한, 두 개의 가스 터빈과, 유량 터빈, 플랜트의 열 효율을 90%로 증가시키는 열 회수 장치를 포함한다"고 설명했다.

27억 달러 규모의 M-Station은 아랍의 최신, 최대 규모의 전력 생산 및 담수화 플랜트로 2천60㎿의 전력량과 하루 70 Ml의 마실 수 있는 물 생산량을 갖는다. 프로젝트의 전체 생산 용량은 전력 9천656㎿과 담수화 하루 2천350Ml이다.

Dubai's state-owned utility has announced that it has extended the deadline to receive bids for the expansion project at its M-Station power production and desalination plant by one month to October 15.
 
"The expansion project includes new power generation units with a capacity of 600 MW to be added to the current capacity of the station by 2018. The expansion project also includes adding two gas turbines, a steam turbine, and a heat-recovery unit, which will increase the plant's thermal efficiency to 90%," said managing director and chief executive officer of DEWA, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) said that the bid extension decision had been requested by major international companies.

The AED10 billion (US$ 2.7 billion) M-Station, is the newest and largest power production and desalination plant in the UAE, with a power capacity of 2,060 MW and producing potable water at 70 Ml/day.

The M Station project has been implemented in phases since mid-2010. Water desalination systems amounted to AED3.95 billion (US$ 1.08 billion) using eight desalination units, each with a capacity of 26 Ml/d, and four boilers with a total capacity of 700 Ml.

DEWA said its total production capacity stood at 9,656 MW of electricity and 2,350 Ml/d in desalination.
