[미국] DPW 연구를 위해 Black and Veatch 보조금 수여

미국 물 재사용 연구 단체가 최근 직접 마실수 있는 물 재사용(DPR, Direct potable reuse)의 수질 연구를 위해 Black and Veatch사에 보조금을 지급했다고 밝혔다.

이 연구는 DPR 수질과 공정에 대한 상류 폐수처리 효과를 평가할 예정이고, DPR 공정에 영향을 미치는 유입수질과 흐름변동에 대한 유압 제거 장치의 효과를 분석할 계획이며 연구조사관은 Alan Rimer 과 Sunny Wang of Black and Veatch사 이다.

한편, 연구는 캘리포니아 DPR Initiative의 기금을 통해 진행되고 Black and Veatch가 물 재사용 연구 단체의 제안서 요구에 맞는 연구를 시행하기 위해 채택됐다.

The US Water Reuse Research Foundation recently awarded funding to conduct a direct potable reuse (DPR) water quality study to the Black and Veatch Corporation.

The study will evaluate upstream wastewater treatment impacts on DPR source water quality and process. It will also asses the impact of hydraulic control mechanisms on influent water quality and flow variations that stress the DPR process.

The principal investigators will be Alan Rimer and Sunny Wang of Black and Veatch Corporation.

This study was funded through the Foundation's California DPR Initiative.

Black and Veatch was selected to conduct the research after responding to The Water Reuse Research Foundation's request for proposals.
