지난 10월 교정국이 물 관리 계획 평가에 대한 규격 기준의 표준 개정판에 대해 정보를 전달하고 의견을 수렴하기 위해 공식 미팅 세 개를 주최했다.

당국은 1992년 센트럴 밸리 프로젝트 향상법(CVPIA)과 1982년 교정 개정법에 따라 규격기준을 업데이트 했다. 이 규격기준의 물 수송에 있어서 최고의 효율성을 촉진하기 위한 목적으로 제안됐다.

교정 개정법 210조에 따라 계약자들은 확고한 목적과 적절한 물 보존 측정, 기간 계획서를 가지고 물 관리 계획을 준비하거나 제안서를 제출해야 한다.

 

 

 

In September, the Bureau of Reclamation hosted three public meetings to present information and receive comments on the proposed revision to the Standard Criteria for Evaluating Water Management Plans.

 

The Bureau has updated the Standard Criteria in response to the Central Valley Project Improvement Act (CVPIA) of 1992 and in accordance with the Reclamation Reform Act of 1982. The purpose of the Standard Criteria is to promote the highest efficiency of water delivery.

 

Section 210 of the Reclamation Reform Act requires contractors to prepare and submit Water Management Plans with definite goals, appropriate water conservation measures and timetables.

 

Contractors are required to submit Plans every five years to be evaluated against the Standard Criteria by the Mid-Pacific Regional Water Conservation Office. Section 3405(e) of the CVPIA requires that the Standard Criteria be reviewed every three years and revised, if necessary.
