물 솔루션과 원전 서비스 기업인 Select Energy Services사가 오클라호마 그래디 카운티 남부에 위치한 새 패컨 힐 물 솔루션 시설을 개시했다. 원유와 가스 운영을 서브하는 이 시설은 염수 추출정(SDW)과 담수 트럭 차고를 보유하고 있으며, 땅에 묻힌 파이프를 통해 하루 2만5천 배럴의 담수를 제공한다.

 

2013년 Select Energy와 Access Midstream은 탐사지역 및 생산 기업에 믿을만한 수자원을 제공하기 위해 지하 파이프라인을 통해 담수를 운반하는 아이디어를 개발했다.

 

 

 

Today, Select Energy Services, a water solutions and oilfield service company, launched the new Pecan Hill Water Solutions Facility in southeast Grady County, Okla. The facility, which will serve oil and gas operations, houses a saltwater disposal well (SDW) and a freshwater trucking depot and provides access to 25,000 barrels of freshwater per day from a buried pipeline.

 

In 2013, Select Energy and Access Midstream developed the idea of running freshwater through an underground pipeline to supply a reliable resource to area exploration and production companies. The existing facility was equipped with an SDW, and the companies repurposed a segment of a 13-mile, 6-inch, steel hydrocarbon pipeline to allow for the movement of freshwater. The conversion was completed in November.
