중국 최대 규모로 석탄을 제공하는 Aquatech사는 최근 계약에서 액체 연료 변환 프로젝트에서 무방류 처리시설(Zero Liquid Discharg, ZLD)을 포함해 석탄을 액체 연료로 전환하는 플랜트의 물처리 설비를 제공하는 계약을 체결했다. 이 프로젝트는 중국에서 최대의 석탄 생산 기업인 선화(Shenhua) 그룹의 자회사 선화닝메이(Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Co)사에 의해 개발되고 있다.

 

무방류 처리 플랜트는 하루 5만5천㎥ 규모의 폐수를 재활용해 가동 첫 해에 4백만㎥의 폐수를 배출할 예정이다. 재활용수는  높은 순도 수준으로 처리되며, 처리시설에서 재사용된다.

 

 

 

China’s biggest coal producer has awarded Aquatech a contract to provide a water treatment facility that includes a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant for a coal to liquid fuels conversion project.

 

The project is being developed by Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Co., a division of Shenhua Group, China's biggest coal producer.

 

The ZLD plant will recycle over 55,000 m3/day of wastewater generated by the 4 million tons per year plant and eliminate all wastewater discharge.

 

The recycled water will treated to a high purity level and reused in the process facility. Shenhua selected Aquatech to design, engineer, and supply the integrated water facility, and to supervise installation and commissioning.

 

Aquatech will supply a system will use the AquaEZ™ technology consisting of conventional UFRO, HERO™ (High Efficiency Reverse Osmosis), Unseeded Falling Film evaporators, followed by crystallizers at the back end to achieve compete zero liquid discharge.

 

Aquatech will also supply the post-treatment of the recycled water with an ion exchange process to give high purity water to be used back in the process.

 

The project will ensure that Shenhua Ningxia complies with statutory regulations and minimises its overall water footprint.
