[보스니아-헤르체고비나] EBRD 통해 폐수처리플랜트 자금 마련

3만5천 명 이상의 사람들에게 서비스할 새로운 폐수처리플랜트와 수집 시스템은 보스니아-헤르체고비나(Bosnia and Herzegovina)에서 20유로 이상을 끌어들였다.

유럽부흥개발은행(EBRD)은 프로젝트의 두 단계에 12유로 이상을 제공한다. 반면 스웨덴 국제개발협동에이전시와 유럽연합은 각각 최대 400만 유로와 650만 유로에 해당하는 자금을 제공했다.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA FUNDED BY EBRD, EU & SIDA

A new wastewater treatment plant and collection system that will service more than 35,000 people has attracted over €20 in financing in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing €12 over two phases of the project, while the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and the European Union provided grant co-financing amounting to an extra €4 million and €6.5 million, respectively.

Old septic tanks will be removed as part of the project, together with the replacement of asbestos-cement water pipes. The water supply network will also be expanded.

A consultant hired for the project also ensured that all the facilities comply with European Union (EU) standards. The donor partners also funded technical cooperation to help manage and implement the project.

Years of poor maintenance in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s water sector have result in weak economic governance and poor infrastructure.
