[호주] Itron의 배수 시스템으로 물공급 향상

에너지와 물의 풍부한 지략에 전념하는 선도적 기술 및 서비스 회사 Itron은 호주 남동부 주민들에게 물을 공급하는 Snowy Valleys 의회가 배수시스템의 운영을 향상시키기 위해 당사와 함께 작업한다고 지난 3일 발표했다. 의회는 Itron의 자회사인 Temetra의 고급 데이터 수집 및 데이터 관리 소프트웨어(SaaS)를 포함하여 물 미터 자동화 솔루션을 사용하기 시작했다.

WATER DISTRIBUTION IN SOUTHEAST AUSTRALIA GETS BOOST FROM ITRON TECHNOLOGY

Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI), a world-leading technology and services company dedicated to the resourceful use of energy and water, announced today that the Snowy Valleys Council, service provider to residents in southeast Australia, is working with Itron to improve the operation of its water distribution system. The council has begun deploying Itron’s water metering automation solution, including Itron subsidiary Temetra’s advanced data collection and data management software as a service (SaaS).

The solution is enabling operational and meter-reading efficiencies and allowing Snowy Valleys Council to bill customers in an accurate and timely fashion. With fast drive-by metering, the solution collects and processes advanced data to capture insights from across the council's distribution network. The data is available through an online, cloud-based interface and the solution seamlessly integrates with the council's billing system.

"Itron's water automation solution is giving Snowy Valleys Council the opportunity to optimize its water operations. The flexibility of the solution allows the council to deploy smart technologies at its own pace and easily upgrade to AMI if the need arises," said Dominique Lerouge, Itron vice president for water and heat, Asia Pacific.
