아틀란티스 테크놀로지스(Atlantis Technologies)는 브라질의 물탱크 및 시스템 제조업체인 포틀레프(Fortlev)와 유통 및 제조 파트너십을 발표했다. 브라질 비토리아(Vitoria)에 본사를 두고 있는 Fortlev는 브라질 전역에 8개의 대형 공장과 10만 명이 넘는 고객이 있는 남미 최대의 탱크 제작 업체이다. 

Fortlev도 PVC 배관, 피팅, 밸브, 필터, 맞춤형 볼트 결합 탱크 및 엔지니어링을 생산한다.  Fortlev는 공정 냉각을 제외한 모든 어플리케이션을 위해 남아메리카에서 Atlantis Technologies의 RDI 담수화 시스템을 배급할 독점권을 갖는다. 이 계약에는 브라질에 시스템 RDI 시스템을 구축할 수 있는 라이센스 권한이 포함되어 있다.

Fortlev CEO인 안토니오 토레스(Antonio Torres)는 "획기적인 RDI 담수화 시스템을 공급하고 분배하기 위해 아틀란티스 테크놀로지와 제휴하는 것은 우리의 물 사업을 더욱 발전시키는 우리의 사명에서 다음 단계이다"라면서 "RDI 담수화 시스템을 사용하여 Agustin Viva(IAV) Instituto Agua Viva(Instituto Agua Viva, IAV)를 통해 브라질 동북부 2천500만 명의 주민에게 깨끗한 식수를 제공하게되어 기쁘다"라고 말했다.

인스티투토 아구아 비바(Instituto Agua Viva)는 Fortlev가 자금을 지원하는 NGO로, 교육, 수입 창출, 스포츠 및 건강 프로젝트를 브라질 북동부의 여러 지역 사회에 제공하는 비영리 기관이다.

Atlantis Technologies의 패트릭 커런(Patrick Curran) 최고 경영자는 "Fortlev는 남미 시장을 장악할 수 있는 제조, 유통 및 기술 역량을 갖추고 있다. 담수화 능력을 추가하게되면 그렇지 못한 많은 정부 및 산업 프로젝트에 입찰할 수 있게 되었다. 우리는 또한 브라질 북동부의 소금기가 없는 지하수를 담수화하기 위해 IAV를 지원하게 되어 매우 자랑스럽다"라고 말했다.

Wastewater Desalination Company Atlantis Technologies Announces Partnership With Brazilian Water Tank Giant Fortlev

Firm gains exclusive rights to distribute RDI desalination systems in South America

Atlantis Technologies is proud to announce a distribution and manufacturing partnership with Brazilian water tank and system manufacturer Fortlev. Headquartered in Vitoria, Brazil, Fortlev is South America’s largest tank builder, with eight large factories across Brazil and more than 100,000 customers.

Fortlev (Portuguese for strong-light) also produces PVC piping, fittings, valves, filters, custom bolt-together tanks and engineering. Fortlev will have exclusive rights to distribute Atlantis Technologies’ RDI desalination systems in South America for all applications except process cooling. Included in the agreement are licensing rights to build systems RDI systems in Brazil.

“Partnering with Atlantis Technologies to distribute and manufacture their groundbreaking RDI desalination systems is the next logical step in our mission to further grow our water business,” said Antonio Torres, Fortlev CEO. “I’m also excited to use the RDI desalination systems to bring clean drinking water to 25 million inhabitants in Northeast Brazil through Instituto Agua Viva (IAV).”

Instituto Agua Viva, a Fortlev-funded NGO, is a non-profit institution that works to bring education, income generation, sports, and health projects to various communities in northeastern region of Brazil.

“Fortlev has the manufacturing, distribution, and technical capabilities to dominate the South American market,” said Patrick Curran, CEO of Atlantis Technologies. “Adding desalination capability will allow them to bid on many government and industrial projects they otherwise could not. We are also very proud to support IAV to desalinate brackish groundwater in NE Brazil.”

Atlantis Technologies’ previous South American partner, Max Green, will now provide technical and sales support to Fortlev.
