[인도] 마이수루시 헤일 운두와디 식수 프로젝트 입찰

인도의 카르나타카 도시용수 공급 및 배수위원회(KUWSDB ; Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board)가 마이수루(Mysuru)의 헤일 운두와디 식수 프로젝트(Hale Unduwadi drinking water project)에 입찰한 것으로 알려졌다.

이 프로젝트는 마이수루(Mysuru)시와 주변 지역에 식수를 공급하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다고 힌두교보(Hindu reported)가 보도했다.

1단계 사업은 KRS 저수지 인근 헤일 운두와디(Hale Unduwadi)의 카우버리(Cauvery)강에서 잭웰(jackwell)을 통해 하루 1억5천만 리터(MLD)를 취수하는 것이다.

잭웰(jackwell)에서 남쪽으로 4km 떨어진 비챠나쿠페(Beechanakuppe)에 있는 처리장으로 펌핑된다.

처리된 물은 시내 비자야나가르(Vijayanagar)의 마스터밸런싱저수지(MBR ; Master Balancing Reservoir)와 야다비리(Yadavgiri)의 하이레벨저수지(HLR ;  High Level Reservoir)로 보내진 뒤 시 서부지역과 92개 마을에 파이프를 통해 공급된다.

마이수루(Mysuru)시는 헤일 운두와디 식수 프로젝트(Hale Unduwadi drinking water project)의 150 MLD 외에 벨라골라(Belagola), 홍알리(Hongalli), 카비니(Kabini), 멜라푸라(Melapura) 등에서 이미 260∼265 MLD를 받고 있다고 한다.

사업장소는 저수지 수위가 70ft 이하로 내려가 죽은 저수지에 도달해도 물을 끌어다 쓸 수 있다고 한다.

당초 7년 전쯤 계획됐던 이 사업은 비차나쿠페(Beechanakuppe) 정수처리장 용지가 카르나타카 공업지역개발위원회(KIADB ; Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board)에 산업용 사업으로 인수되면서 미뤄졌다.

이 땅은 나중에 보존이 해제되어 카르나타카 도시용수 공급 및 배수위원회(KUWSDB)에 위탁되었다.

이 프로젝트에 대한 작업은 내년 초에 시작될 것으로 예상된다. 그것은 시작 후 30개월 이내에 낙찰자에 의해 완성될 예정이다.

또 다른 150 MLD를 목표로 하는 헤일 운두와디 프로젝트(Hale Unduwadi project)의 2단계는 나중에 시작될 것으로 예상된다.

지난달 인도 챈디가흐 스마트시티유한공사(CSCL ;  India’s Chandigarh Smart City Limited)가 마니마즈라(Manimajra) 상수도사업 입찰자를 띄웠다.

India’s KUWSDB floats tender for Hale Unduwadi drinking water project

Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board (KUWSDB) in India has reportedly floated tender for the Hale Unduwadi drinking water project in Mysuru.

This project aims to supply drinking water in Mysuru city and surrounding areas, The Hindu reported.

The first phase of the project involves the collection of 150 million litres per day (MLD) from Cauvery river at Hale Unduwadi near KRS reservoir through a jackwell.

It will be then pumped to a treatment plant at Beechanakuppe located 4km south of the jackwell. 

The treated water will be sent to the Master Balancing Reservoir (MBR) at Vijayanagar in the city and the High Level Reservoir (HLR) at Yadavgiri before it is supplied through pipe to the western parts of the city and 92 villages.

In addition to the 150 MLD from the Hale Unduwadi project, Mysuru city is said to be already receiving 260-265 MLD from Belagola, Hongalli, Kabini and Melapura.

The location of the project is said to allow water to be drawn even if the reservoir level goes down below 70 ft and reaches dead storage.

This project, originally planned around seven years ago, was delayed after the land identified for the water treatment plant at Beechanakuppe was acquired by Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) for an industrial project.

This land was later de-reserved and entrusted to the KUWSDB.

The work on the project is expected to start early next year. It is slated to complete within 30 months of start by the successful bidder.

Phase two of the Hale Unduwadi project, which eyes another 150 MLD, is anticipated to start later.

Last month, India’s Chandigarh Smart City Limited (CSCL) floated tenders for the water supply project in Manimajra.
