[이탈리아] 악시오나, 사르데냐 제도 300개 하수처리장 운영 수주

스페인의 글로벌 물기업인 악시오나(ACCIONA)는 향후 5년 동안 이탈리아 사르데냐(Sardinia)에 있는 300개의 하수처리장과 600개의 펌핑 스테이션에 대한 운영 및 유지 보수 계약 3건을 수주했다.

칼리아리(Cagliari), 이글레시아스(Iglesias), 누오로(Nuoro), 올비아(Olbia), 오리스타노(Oristano), 사사리(Sassari) 주에 위치한 이러한 시설은 섬 전체 하수처리 용량의 85%를 차지하며 연간 120.45 h㎥을 처리할 수 있으며, 이에 상응하는 인구 240만 명에게 서비스를 제공한다.

총액 2억1천만 유로에 달하는 이 3개의 계약은 2005년부터 사르데냐 제도(Sardinia island)에서 종단(end-to-end) 간 물순환을 관리해온 정부 소유 기업인 압바노아 스파(Abbanoa SpA)가 수주했다.

악시오나(ACCIONA)는 하수처리장과 펌핑 스테이션을 운영하고 폐기물 및 슬러지 수거와 일반 및 특별 유지 보수를 담당한다. 이를 위해 에너지 효율을 높이고 순환경제(circular economy)와 프로세스의 지속 가능성을 육성하기 위해 주요 혁신을 전개한다.

순환경제에 대한 악시오나(ACCIONA)의 초점의 일환으로 수처리 과정에서 생성된 슬러지는 농업에 사용된다.

악시오나(ACCIONA)는 전기자동차를 사용하여 계약을 이행하고 온실가스 배출을 줄이고 태양광 캐노피(canopie)를 사용하여 재충전 한다. 차량은 새로운 카셰어링(carsharing) 접근 방식으로 서비스 직원에게 제공된다.

QR코드를 사용하여 작업지시 및 완료, 재고 추적, 유량기록 및 분석보고서 처리와 같은 작업을 최적화하는 지오콜 시스템(Geocall system)이 구축된다. 시설에 대한 액세스 및 경로 계획은 지오로케이션((Geolocation ; GIS)를 사용하여 수행된다.

서비스 직원은 스마트 글래스( smart glass)를 사용하는 원격 전문가 지원 서비스의 지원을 받게되며, 이는 시설 유지관리를 최적화하고 더 빠르고 유연한 의사 소통을 제공한다.

접근하기 어려운 수중 환경에서 침전물을 청소하도록 특별히 설계된 로봇은 처리 탱크의 바닥을 깨끗하게 유지하는 데 사용된다. 이렇게 하면 직원이 멀리서 로봇을 작동하기 때문에 수처리 품질에 영향을 주지 않고 작업의 위험을 최소화 할 수 있다. 

악시오나(ACCIONA)는 지난 2000년부터 이탈리아에서 운영되고 있으며, 그곳에서 광범위한 경험을 축적했다. 밀라노(Milan)와 로마(Rome)에 사무실이 있으며 전국에 550명 이상의 직원이 있다. 악시오나(ACCIONA)의 물사업부는 여러 이탈리아 지역에서 40개의 프로젝트를 실행했다.

펠라기 제도(Pelagie Islands)에 속한 팬텔리아(Pantelleria), 리노사(Linosa) 및 람페두사(Lampedusa)에서는 식수를 공급하기 위해 모듈식 담수화 플랜트를 운영하고 있다. 로마(Rome)와 바티칸시(Vatican City)에서는 식수 및 하수도관리를 담당하고 있다.

ACCIONA awarded operation and maintenance of 300 wastewater treatment plants in Sardinia (Italy)

ACCIONA has been awarded three contracts for the operation and maintenance over the next five years of 300 wastewater treatment plants and 600 pumping stations in Sardinia (Italy).

These facilities, located in the provinces of Cagliari, Iglesias, Nuoro, Olbia, Oristano and Sassari, account for 85% of the island's total wastewater treatment capacity and can process 120.45 hm3/year, serving an equivalent population of 2.4 million.

The three contracts, with a combined total value of €210 million, were awarded by Abbanoa SpA, the government-owned enterprise that has been managing the end-to-end water cycle on the island of Sardinia since 2005.

ACCIONA will be in charge of operating the wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations, as well as waste collection and ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.

To this end, it will deploy major innovations in order to enhance energy efficiency and foster the circular economy and the processes' sustainability.

As part of ACCIONA's focus on the circular economy, the sludge produced during the water treatment process will be used in agriculture.

The company will use electricity vehicles to deliver the contracts, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and they will be recharged using photovoltaic canopies. The vehicles will be made available to the service staff under a novel carsharing approach.

The Geocall system will be deployed, which uses QR codes to optimise tasks such as generating and completing work orders, tracking inventories, logging flow rates and handling breakdown reports. Access to the facilities and route planning will be performed with geolocation (GIS).

Service staff will be supported by a Remote Expert Assistance service using smart glasses, which will optimise maintenance of the facilities and provide faster and more fluid communication.

A robot designed specifically for cleaning sediment in hard-to-access underwater environments will be used to keep the bottom of the treatment tanks clean. This will minimise risk in operations without affecting water treatment quality since the staff will operate the robot from a distance.

ACCIONA has been operating in Italy since 2000, and it has accumulated extensive experience there; it has offices in Milan and Rome and more than 550 employees in the country. ACCIONA's Water division has executed 40 projects in a number of Italian regions.

andmark projects include the Saras desalination plant (12,000 m3/day), which provides high-quality demineralised water to the Sarlux refinery (owned by Italian energy group Saras SpA) in Sarroch, near Cagliari, in Sardinia.

On the Pelagie Islands (Pantelleria, Linosa and Lampedusa), the company operates modular desalination plants to supply drinking water. In Rome and the Vatican City, it is in charge of maintaining drinking water and sewer mains.

The company has also carried out major wastewater treatment projects in such regions as Sardinia, Lazio, Apulia, Piedmont, Lombardy, Tuscany, Liguria, Sicily and Veneto. 

The company also built the extension of the Guidonia sewage treatment plant in Rome and the biofiltration plant in Scicli (Sicily), as well as upgrading several plants in Bari, Cagliari and Milan.
