Ovivo사는 최근 미국 지자체 시장에서 총 1천만 달러 가치의 2개의 대형 계약을 체결했다고 발표했다. 첫 번째 계약은 플로리다 마이애미데이드 카운티에 듀플렉스(duplex) 스테인리스 스틸로 제작된 7대의 청정기(clarifier)를 공급하는 건으로, 폐수 속 매우 높은 염화물농도로 인해 청정 산소 어플리케이션에 특수 내부식성 자재가 요구되는 상황이다.

두 번째 계약은 일리노이 디캘브 카운티에 위치한 새 Snapfinger 폐수처리 플랜트에 대한 것으로, Ovivo는 Carrousel 공정과 관련된 장비 및 제어 시스템을 공급할 예정이다.

 

 

 

Ovivo Inc., a global company dedicated to water and wastewater treatment, recently announced that it has been awarded two major contracts in the U.S. municipal market for a combined value of approximately CA$13 million ($10 million). 

 

The first contract is for the supply of seven 160-foot-diameter clarifiers in duplex stainless steel to Miami-Dade County, Fla. Due to extremely high chloride concentrations in the wastewater, a special corrosion-resistant material was required for this pure oxygen application.

 

Through its heritage brand Eimco Water Technologies, Ovivo created value for the County by utilizing its Collection Manifold Device (CMDTM), which allowed installation of the new clarifiers without structural changes to the existing tanks, thus reducing project cost and shortening installation time. The equipment is scheduled to be progressively delivered between March and September 2016.

 

The second contract is for the new Snapfinger wastewater treatment plant, located in DeKalb County, Ga., for which Ovivo will supply equipment and control systems related to the Carrousel® process. The Snapfinger facility will be the largest plant of its kind in the world, serving about a half million residents and discharging water meeting strict discharge criteria.

 

The equipment is scheduled to be progressively delivered between 2017 and 2019. Ovivo has provided the highly reliable Carrousel process for almost 40 years and has always kept the technology relevant through employee-led innovation during that time.
