[호주] IWN과 SWAN, 호주와 APAC 지역 스마트워터 도입 가속화

지능형 물 네트워크(Intelligent Water Networks; IWN)는 스마트 물 네트워크 포럼(Smart Water Network Forum; SWAN)과의 새로운 전략적 파트너십을 발표했다.

이는 새로운 혁신기술을 중심으로 협업할 수 있는 좋은 기회로서, IWN(http://www.iwn.org.au/)과 SWAN(https://www.swan-forum.com/swan-apac-alliance/)이 경쟁하고 기존 작업을 복제하는 것이 아니라 서로의 작업을 보완할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.

IWN의 딘 바넷(Dan Barnett) 프로그램 책임자는 "새로운 기술의 사용과 수용에 관한 흥미진진한 시간이며, SWAN 전무이사 및 SWAN 팀과 더 가까이에서 작업하게 되어 매우 기쁘다"고 말했다.

SWAN의 주요 목표 중 하나는 스마트 물 및 폐수 솔루션 채택의 이점에 대한 인식을 높이는 것이다. 이 조직은 전 세계 물 및 폐수 네트워크에서 '스마트(Smart)' 데이터 기반 솔루션의 사용을 촉진하기 위한 선도적인 글로벌 허브다.

SWAN의 아미르 칸(Amir Cahn)  무이사는 "SWAN은 호주와 나머지 아시아 태평양 지역에서 스마트워터/폐수 고도화를 가속화하는 SWAN APAC Alliance를 통해 IWN과 협력하기를 기대한다"고 덧붙였다.

IWN And SWAN Partner To Accelerate Smart Water Adoption Throughout Australia And The APAC Region

The Intelligent Water Networks (IWN) are pleased to announce our new Strategic Partnership with the Smart Water Network Forum (SWAN).

This is a great opportunity to collaborate around new innovative technology and will allow IWN and SWAN to complement each other’s work, rather than compete and duplicate existing work.

IWN Program Director Dean Barnett said: “It’s exciting times around the use and acceptance of new technology, and I am very excited to be working closer with Amir Cahn, SWAN Executive Director and the SWAN team.”

One of SWAN’s primary goals is to increase awareness about the benefits of adopting smart water and wastewater solutions. The organisation is the leading global hub for advancing the use of “smart,” data-driven solutions in water and wastewater networks worldwide.

SWAN Executive Director Amir Cahn added: “SWAN looks forward to collaborating with IWN through the SWAN APAC Alliance, which accelerates smart water/wastewater advancement in Australia and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region.”
