[프랑스] 수에즈, 중국 '10대 물기업상' 수상

수에즈(SUEZ)는 중국 물산업의 가장 권위있는 10대 물기업상을 외국기업 최초록 수상해 2021년 가장 영향력있는 물기업으로 인정받았다. 수에즈는 마카오 워터(Macao Water), 장쑤시노프렌치(Jiangsu Sino French), 충칭시노프렌치(Chongqing Sino French) 등 3개 SUEZ 합작 기업은 모범적인 성과와 사회적 영향력으로 중국에서 가장 사회적으로 책임 있는 물기업으로 선정되었다. 이 중 마카오워터와 장쑤시노프렌치가 2012년 10년 연속 이 상을 수상했다.

또한 SUEZ의 중국 내 수처리 인프라 사업 중 5개 사업이 물산업 우수사례 사례연구로 선정되었으며, 충칭시 당가타(Tangjiatuo) 폐수처리장도 업계로부터 폐수처리 고도화 운영 및 관리기준으로 인정받았다.

중국에서 가장 영향력 있는 10대 물기업상은 2003년 시작된 이래 중국 물 회사들 사이에서 산업계의 영향력이 막강한 신뢰할 수 있고 권위 있는 공급원으로 널리 인정받고 있다. 2021년 선정에는 약 400개의 물 회사가 참여했으며 SUEZ는 중국에서 거의 50년 동안 운영하면서 개발된 혁신적인 솔루션, 도시 및 산업 고객을 위한 전문 물 운영 및 관리 서비스, 중국의 탈탄소화 목표 기여, 중국의 물산업 및 기여의 가치를 개방하는 데 있어 '모범 외국인 투자 물기업'으로 인정받았다.

SUEZ Wins Multiple Excellence Awards in China’s Water Industry

The most prestigious annual award of China’s water industry recognized SUEZ as one of the 2021 Most Influential Water Companies. It also recognized SUEZ as the only foreign company receiving the award each year since its creation.  At the same time, three SUEZ joint ventures, Macao Water, Jiangsu Sino French, and Chongqing Sino French, received the Most Socially Responsible Water Company in China designation for their exemplary performance and social impact. Among them, Macao Water and Jiangsu Sino French have been recipients of this award for 10 consecutive years since its first edition in 2012. 

Additionally, five of SUEZ’s water treatment infrastructure projects in China were selected as case studies on best practices in the water industry, and the Tangjiatuo wastewater treatment plant in Chongqing was also recognised by the industry as a benchmark for sophisticated operation and management of wastewater treatment.

Since its inception in 2003, the Top 10 Most Influential Water Companies in China award has been widely recognised among Chinese water companies as a credible and authoritative source, with strong industry influence. The 2021 selection attracted entries from approximately 400 water companies. SUEZ was recognised as a “Model Foreign-invested Water Company” for its innovative solutions developed over the course of nearly five decades of operations in China, its specialised water operations and management services for municipal and industrial customers, and its prominent role in unlocking the value of China’s water industry and contributing to China’s 2030/2060 decarbonization goals.
