[미국] 오비스, 배관 모니터링 장치인 스마트캡 신규 유통업체 발표

미 남·중부 지역 신규 유통업체로 AV 워터 테크놀로지스 선정

스마트 모니터링 회사인 오비스 인텔리전트 시스템즈(Orbis Intelligent Systems)는 미국 내 신규 유통업체와 파트너쉽을  맺었다고 밝혔다.

AV 워터 테크놀로지스(AV Water Technologies, AVWT)는 혁신적이고 스마트한 기술을 제공하는 첨단 시스템을 상수도 시장에 공급하는 유통업체이다. 이 회사는 텍사스, 오클라호마, 캔자스, 미주리 및 아칸소를 포함한 미국 남부 및 중부 지역에 오비스 스마트캡(Orbis SmartCap)을 공급할 예정이다.

SmartCap은 지능형 소화전 및 배관 모니터링 장치로 멀티 센서에서 실시간 데이터를 제공해 원격 누출 감지가 가능하다.  지난해 초, 이 장치는 남동부 소재의 한 상수도 시설애서 15개월 동안 누수된 곳을 찾는 데 큰 역할을 했다. SmartCap은 배치 후 3일 이내에 누수를 정확히 찾아내 물과 비용을 크게 절감시켰다.

Orbis announces new US channel partner

Smart monitoring company Orbis Intelligent Systems has announced a new distributor.

AV Water Technologies (AVWT) is a distributor of advanced systems to the water utility market, providing innovative and smart technologies. The company will be supplying the Orbis SmartCap in Southern and Central US, covering Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas.

The SmartCap is an intelligent fire hydrant and pipe monitoring device that enables remote leak detection by providing real-time data from a multi-sensor. In early 2022, the device helped a Southeastern water utility find a leak that had been running for 15 months. The SmartCap pinpointed the leak within three days of deployment, bringing significant water and cost savings.
