| [AWWA] Donahue, 미국수도협회 차기 회장 선출
미국수도협회(AWWA)는 North Park의 총 책임자이자 Public Water District와 오랜 AWWA의 자원 봉사자인 John Donahue가 협회의 차기 회장으로써 이사회에 의해 선출됐다고 밝혔다. Donahue는 2013년 6월에 콜로라도 주 덴버(Denver)에서 열리는 AWWA의 연례 회의 및 박람회에서 회장으로써 그의 역할을 수행한다. 그는 2014년 6월에 그의 첫 1년 임기를 시작할 것이다.
1987년부터 AWWA 회원이자 Illinois Section의 활발한 회원이었던 Donahue는 2009년에 협회의 Fuller Award를 수여 받았다. 그는 AWWA 협회 및 Section levels 모두에서 여러 위원회 활동하고 있고 물과 폐수 작동 자격증 또한 보유하고 있다.

Donahue selected as next president-elect by AWWA directors
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The American Water Works Association (AWWA) announced that John Donahue, general manager of the North Park (Ill.) Public Water District and longtime AWWA volunteer, has been selected by the Board of Directors as the association’s next president-elect, according to a press release.
Donahue begins his role as president-elect in June 2013, at the conclusion of AWWA’s Annual Conference and Exposition in Denver, Colo. He will serve his one-year presidential term beginning in June of 2014.
An AWWA member since 1987 and active member of the Illinois Section, Donahue was honored in 2009 with the association’s Fuller Award. He has served on numerous committees at both the AWWA association and Section levels, and he continues to hold water and wastewater operator licenses.
