| [영국] 9월 중순까지 Kelda 사 지분 인수 경매 진행
Citi Infrastructure Investors 사와 InfraCapital은 최근 요크셔(Yorkshire) 워터 사의 자회사인 Kelda 사의 30% 지분 인수를 위한 경매를 7월 중 직접 제안을 시작으로 9월 중순까지 진행하겠다고 밝혔다.
이번 결정이 있기 전에 발생하였던 두 달간의 연기는 Kelda 사의 지분을 각각 26%와 23% 씩 소유하고 있던 GIC 사와 Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management 사가 선취권을 포기하기 위해 요구하였던 50일 진행 절차 소요 기간으로 인한 것이었다고 알려졌다.
Citi 사는 자사의 지분 중 20%를 남기고 다른 17%를 매도하려 하고 있고 InfraCapital 사의 경우 자사 지분의 전부인 13%를 매도하려고 추진하고 있다.

Firm bids on Kelda stake sale expected mid-September
Citi Infrastructure Investors and InfraCapital have invited firm bids for a 30% stake in Yorkshire Water’s holding company Kelda by mid-September, after receiving indicative offers in July.
The two-month delay is the result of an extended 50-day process under which GIC and Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, two other leading Kelda shareholders with stakes of just over 26% and 23% respectively, need to waive pre-emption rights.
Citi is looking to sell a 17% stake in Kelda to reduce its holding to 20%, while InfraCapital wants to offload its entire 13% interest.
A partnership between Goldman Sachs and Allianz is understood to have made a provisional bid for all 30% of the Kelda equity, while a number of others are thought to have made offers for stakes ranging between 10% and 20%.
Industry sources suggest that Citi and InfraCapital now expect to realise around ￡860 million for the 30% equity interest.
