Xylem사는 이스라엘 국영수자원회사인 Mekorot의 기술개발센터와 새로운 수처리 기술 및 관련된 혁신제품과 혁신 서비스 등의 상업화 추진을 위한 상호협력 계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이 계약은 수질과 수자원보호와 관련된 신기술, 물공급 체계의 최적화, 폐수처리 및 재이용등에 대한 상호 평가 작업등이 포함된다. 이러한 협약의 결과로 Xylem사의 새로운 기술·제품을 Mekorot 공장에서 현장평가를 할 수 있게 되며 기술개발을 강화하는 계기가 된다.

Xylem and Mekorot sign technology evaluation accord
Xylem Inc has signed an agreement with WaTech®, the technological development center of Mekorot, Israel's national water company, to evaluate new water technologies and accelerate commercialization of innovative products and services.
The organizations will jointly assess emerging technologies related to water quality and security, optimization of water supply and sustainable water and wastewater treatment and reuse.
In addition to facilitating the joint evaluation of new technologies by the two companies, the cooperation agreement will enable Xylem to test new products at Mekorot facilities to demonstrate product viability, providing the opportunity to accelerate development.
