Dow Water과 Process Solutions, Veolia Water Technologies은 Moho Nord 연안의 심층수 석유 생산을 위해 UF 기술을 제공한다고 밝혔다. Veolia가 Dow의 IntegraFlo 부품을 사용하여 설계하고 제공하는 UF시스템은 바다 속의 유전 장치 Moho Nord floating production unit의 압력 유지에 사용하기 위한 고품질 수를 생산할 예정이며 Dow의 기술은 사전처리에서 하루에 해수 210만 배럴에 있는 박테리아와 부유 물질 제거에 사용된다고 발표했다.

Dow Water and Process Solutions and Veolia Water Technologies are to provide ultrafiltration technology for Total's new Moho Nord offshore floating deep water oil production unit off the Republic of the Congo coast.

An ultrafiltration (UF) system designed and supplied by Veolia Water Technologies using Dow IntegraFlo UF elements will produce high quality water for use in pressure maintenance in the subsea oil wells feeding the Moho Nord floating production unit.

Dow technology will be used in the removal of suspended solids and bacteria from 210,000 barrels of sea water a day in a pretreatment stage. Prior to injection into the oil reservoirs the pretreqted water will be fed into a sulphate removal unit equipped with Dow Filmtec SR90 elements.

Sulphate removal prevents reservoir scaling and souring of the oil.
