[GdF Suez] 아부다비와 전력 및 물 구매계약 체결

GdF Suez는 새로운 하루 13,380 ㎥규모의 하수 역삼투 담수화 플랜트를 포함하는 Mirfa의 독자적인 물 및 전력 프로젝트를 위해 아부다비 Water and Electricity Company와 25년간 전력 및 물 구매계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이 프로젝트는 구입한 전력 시설, 하루 34,095㎥규모의 단계적인 정수 시설, 1,100 MW를 추가한 새로운 전력 생산량, 새로운 담수화 시설을 포함한다.

GdF Suez has signed a 25-year power and water purchase agreement with Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Company for the Mirfa independent water and power project which includes a new 136,380 m3/d seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant.

GdF Suez will hold a 20% equity interest in the project with the remaining 80 percent to be held by Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA).

The project will be built at a capital cost of US$1.5 billion and include the acquisition of existing power facilities and three existing 34,095 m3/d multi-stage flash distillation units, as well as the addition of 1,100 MW of new power production capacity and the new desalination facility.

Degremont will carry out the engineering, procurement and construction work for the desalination portion of the plant, with commercial operation expected to begin in 2016.
