기술·서비스 회사인 Itron(NASDAQ : ITRI)사는, 네덜란드 로테르담에 위치하면서 이 나라 서부지역의 250만명에게 물을 공급하는 회사인 Evides Waterbedrijf에 4년간 수도계량기들을 공급하는 계약에 서명했다.
이 지역의 수도 시스템은 Itron의 AMI(고급계량인프라) 방식의 부피측정 수도계량기들을 사용함으로써 지역 주민들에 대한 물 공급을 정확하고 신뢰할 수 있도록 관리하게 된다.

Western Netherlands to modernize water system with advanced meters
Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI), a technology and services company, has recently signed a four-year contract to supply water meters to Evides Waterbedrijf, a water supplier located in the city of Rotterdam, Netherlands, that serves 2.5 million customers in the western region of the country.
The metering solution will enable Evides to track and use water resources more efficiently. Designed for long-term performance and reliability, the meters will help the utility maximize revenue collection over time. With this contract, Itron will supply up to 100,000 water meters per year for four years.
