P.J. Dore & Co. Ltd가 발표한 ‘The Problem with Water’이라는 주제의 인포그래픽은 전 세계적으로 사용되는 담수사용에 따른 유효성과 우려를 강조한다.

 

인포그래픽에 따르면 도시 인구가 각각 증가하면 약 7억8천300만 명이 안전한 담수를 제공받지 못하는 실정으로, 담수는 관개용수 70%, 산업용수 22%, 가정용수 8%로 각 부문에서 활용되고 있다. 인포그래픽은 또, 폐수처리, 물절약 자원, 건강 위해 요소, 기후 요인, 물발자국 등과 관련한 통계를 제공하고 있다.

The infographic continues that fresh water use by sector equates to 70 percent for irrigation, 22 percent for industry and eight percent for domestic use.
