폴리멤(Polymem)과 클린 멤브레인스(Clean Membranes)는 지난 9월 26∼30일 시카고에서 열린 ‘물환경 연합 기술 전시회·컨퍼런스 2015(WEFTEC 2015)’에서 신규 파트너십을 발표했다. 양사는 상·하수 처리시설에 고도 한외여과 멤브레인 솔루션을 제공할 계획이다.

폴리멤은 유럽의 중공섬유 멤브레인·모듈·시스템 제조업체로, 중합 한외여과 멤브레인은 고내구성의 친수성을 가진  PVDF PSF 및 PVDF를 이용해 제작된다. 폴리멤의 멤브레인 제품은 가정용부터 대규모 수처리 플랜트까지 넓은 범위에 적용이 가능하며, 혁신적이고 비용·공간효율적 특성을 가진 대표제품인 ‘Gigamem’ 모듈뿐만 아니라 여러 표준 및 맞춤형 모듈을 포함하고 있다.

 

 

 

Polymem (www.polymem.fr) and Clean Membranes (www.cleanmembranes.com) announced a new partnership at the WEFTEC 2015 (Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference) held September 26-30th in Chicago. The two companies will offer advanced ultrafiltration membrane solutions for the treatment of water and wastewater.

 

Polymem is a European manufacturer of hollow fiber membranes, modules and systems since 1997. Their polymeric ultrafiltration membranes are manufactured using PSF and PVDF, including an advanced generation of PVDF with long-lasting hydrophilicity. Their membrane products address applications ranging from residential to large water treatment plants and include standard and custom modules, as well as their innovative, cost and space-saving Gigamem modules.

 

Clean Membranes is an early stage US company, commercializing a new, highly fouling-resistant polymer for water filtration membranes that was developed at MIT. Clean Membranes’ proprietary polymeric membrane technology offers unprecedented fouling resistance and is particularly appropriate for treating water with oil.
