베올리아 워터 테크놀로지 중국지사(Veolia Water Technologies China)는 주류회사인 상하이 바커스(Shanghai Bacchus Limited Company)의 신규 그린필드 공장 두 곳에 대한 일괄턴키 폐수처리 플랜트의 설계·시공 계약을 체결했다. 두 공장은 톈진과 청두에 각각 위치한다.

현재 바커스는 ‘RIO 알코팝(Alcopop)’ 시리즈를 제조하고 있는데, 식음료 산업공정 운영에서 발생한 폐수는 고농도의 생물학적 산소 요구량(BOD) 및 화학적 산소 요구량(COD), 부유물질을 포함하고 있다.

 

 

 

Veolia Water Technologies China has won a contract with alcoholic drink producer Shanghai Bacchus Limited Company (Bacchus) to design and build full turnkey wastewater treatment plants for two of Bacchus’s new greenfield factories in Tianjin and Chengdu, China.

 

Bacchus manufactures the RIO Alcopop series. Wastewater generated from food & beverage industry processing operations contains high concentrations of biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and suspended solids.

 

The plants will integrate several of Veolia’s technologies - including the Biothane Advanced Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB), AnoxKaldnes Biological Activated Sludge (BAS), as well as tertiary and sludge treatments.

 

Veolia said the UASB reactor is particularly suitable for treatment of food and beverage-type effluents, ensuring that local regulatory standards for wastewater discharge are met.
