사우스오스트레일리아 워터(SA Water)는 벤틀리(Bentley)의 신규 분석도구를 이용한 4억 호주달러 규모의 네트워크 업데이트 프로젝트를 시작했다. SA Water는 운영비 절감 및 효율성 향상을 달성하는 동시에 식수 네트워크 운영을 최적의 상태로 지속하기 위해 ‘애뮬릿 솔루션(Amulet solution)’을 사용한 의사결정지원 도구 묶음을 실행했다고 밝혔다.

또한 SA Water는 운영 및 IT를 포함한 복합적인 출처에서 발생한 데이터에 대해 다양한 기술적·진단적·예측적 분석 기술을 적용하기 위해 지능형 운영 플랫폼으로서 애뮬릿 솔루션을 활용하고 있다.

 

 

 

South Australia Water (SA Water) has embarked on an ambitious AUD 400 million network upgrade project using new analytical tools from Bentley.

 

SA Water implemented a suite of decision support tools, using the Amulet solution to continue operating the potable water network optimally while reducing operating cost and improving efficiency.

 

SA Water used Amulet as the intelligent operational platform to apply a variety of descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics techniques on data from multiple sources, including operational and IT.

 

By capturing and converging this data into one system, utility SA Water was said to have gained increased understanding of the patterns and relationships its historical and day-to-day information held.

 

The solution has led SA Water to save AUD3 million in electricity costs alone as well as reducing overall operations expenses.

 

According to Bentley, the solution enabled the utility to “address situations quicker, predict demand, have a clear picture of water availability, and move water safely and cost effectively ahead of time”.

 

Steve McMichael, SA Water’s manager of network and production planning, said: “These tools have enabled us to develop operational data analytics, dashboards, and reports that help us effectively plan, monitor, and control our integrated water supply system.”
