사시르 아구아(Sacyr Agua)와 자회사인 아구아스 델 발레 델 과디아로(AVG ; Aguas del Valle del Guadiaro)는 소토그란데(Sotogrande) 주거지역인 산러크(San Roque), 카디즈(Cadiz)에서 전체 물의 순환을 보다 효율적이고 지속가능한 관리하기 위한 몇가지 시책을 시행하고 있다.

실행 중인 이니셔티브 중에서, 한 가지 중요한 점은 통신 네트워크에 연결된 원격 판독 미터(remotely read meters) 구현으로 구성된 파일럿 프로젝트( pilot project)이다.

이 원격 판독 시스템(remotely reading system0은 선택된 부문간의 소비 레지스터, 실시간 이벤트 경보(비정상 소비율이나 흐름 방향의 변화 등), 누출 및 위반 등 문제 감지 등 관련 정보를 제공한다.

이 시스템을 통해 사시르 아구아(Sacyr Agua)는 서비스를 보다 효율적으로 청구 및 관리하고 사용자에게 소비 수준에 대한 액세스 권한을 부여하고 가상 사무소를 통해 경보 및 알림을 간단하고 민첩하게 관리할 수 있는 정보를 얻게 된다.

■ 서비스 개선(Service improvements)

게다가, 사시르 아구아(Sacyr Agua)는 아구아스 델 발레 델 과디아로(AVG ; Aguas del Valle del Guadiaro)의 네트워크 성능을 개선하고 펌핑된 물의 양을 8% 줄일 새로운 공급 네트워크 분류 및 모니터링 시스템을 통합했다.

사시르 아구아(Sacyr Agua)도 에너지 소비를 줄이기 위해 새로운 투자를 하고 있다. 그 중 몇 가지 주요 사항은 다양한 펌프 스테이션에 가변 주파수 드라이브와 루프 제어 시스템을 추가하는 것이다.

아구아스 델 발레 델 과디아로(2018년 이후 100% 사시르 아구아 자회사)는 P3 프로젝트 식수, 산아미멘토, 소토그란데(Sotogrande) 주거지역인 산러크(San Roque), 카디즈(Cadiz)의 하·폐수 정화작업을 관리한다.

여름철에 5천명에 가까운 고객 또는 2만5천 명 이상의 주민에게 서비스를 제공하고 연간 530만㎥에 가까운 물을 공급한다.

Remotely read meter pilot project by Sacyr Agua in Sotogrande, Spain will improve water efficiency

Sacyr Agua and its subsidiary Aguas del Valle del Guadiaro (AVG) are implementing several initiatives for more efficient and sustainable management of the full water cycle in the Sotogrande residential area (San Roque, Cadiz).

Among the initiatives set in motion, one highlight is the pilot project consisting of implementing remotely read meters connected to the communications network.

This remotely reading system will offer relevant information such as the consumption register among the selected sectors, real-time event alarms (abnormal consumption rates or changes in flow directions, among others), and detecting issues, such as leaks and breaches.

Thanks to this system, Sacyr Agua will have the necessary information to bill and manage the service more efficiently and give the users access to their consumption levels, managing their alarms and notifications through the Virtual Office in a simple and agile way.

Service improvements

Furthermore, Sacyr Agua has incorporated new supply network sectorizing and monitoring systems that will improve Aguas del Valle del Guadiaro's network performance and reduce the volume of pumped water by 8%.

Sacyr Agua is also making new investments to reduce energy consumption. Some highlights among them are the addition of variable-frequency drives and loop control systems in the different pumping stations.

Digital transformation

These initiatives are part of Sacyr’s digital transformation and the group’s sustainability strategy, which has among its goals to lead transformative solutions for society, and that improve people’s lives in a sustainable way, in alignment with the United Nations’s (UN) 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Aguas del Valle de Guadiaro

Aguas del Valle del Guadiaro (100% Sacyr Agua subsidiary since 2018) manages the P3 project drinking water, saneamiento, purification of wastewater in the Centro de Interes turistico de Sotogrande (San Roque - Cadiz).

It provides service to close to 5,000 clients or more than 25,000 inhabitants in the summer season and supplies close to 5.3 million m3 of water per year.
