누수감지 및 파이프 상태 평가 솔루션의 선두 공급업체인 이스라엘의 아쿠아리우스 스펙트럼(Aquarius Spectrum, https://www.aqs-systems.com)은 싱가포르의 식수 공급망에 혁신적인 음향 모니터링 시스템(AQS-SYS)을 구축한다.

아쿠아리우스 스펙트럼의 솔루션은 현지 파트너가 제출한 제안서의 일부였으며, 이 제안서는 누수 감지 서비스 제공을 위해 싱가포르 국립수자원부(National Water Agency)인 PUB에서 입찰을 수주했다.

아쿠아리우스(Aquarius)는 직경이 500mm에서 2천200mm인 싱가포르의 대형 수도관에 설치될 수경 센서(hydroponic sensor) 900개를 제공한다.

지하 설치용으로 특별히 설계된 이 센서는 향후 5년 동안 약 400km의 수도관에서 누수 모니터링을 수행한다.

수경 센서는 파이프 내의 소리를 감지하고 녹음하여 무선 네트워크와 특수 알고리즘을 사용하여 분석을 위해 클라우드 기반 서버로 직접 보낸다.

결과는 식별된 누출 및 예상 크기에 대한 상세한 GIS 맵을 포함하는 시스템 경고로 변환된다. AQS 모니터링 시스템의 고유한 기능은 모든 두 측정 센서 간의 자동 상관 관계를 통해 매우 짧은 시간에 신뢰할 수 있고 정확한 결과를 생성한다는 것이다.

Aquarius Spectrum to provide leak detection services in Singapore
900 hydroponic sensors will be installed to monitor 400km of large water mains

Aquarius Spectrum, a leading provider of water leak detection and pipe condition assessment solutions, will deploy its innovative acoustic monitoring system (AQS-SYS) on Singapore's drinking water supply network.

Aquarius Spectrum’s solution was part of the proposal submitted by its local partner, which was awarded the tender by PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency for provision of leak detection services.

Aquarius will provide 900 hydroponic sensors to be installed on Singapore's large water mains - with diameters ranging from 500mm to 2,200mm.

These sensors, designed specifically for underground installation, will perform leak monitoring on approximately 400km of the water pipeline for the next 5 years.

The hydroponic sensors detect and record the sounds within the pipe, sending them directly to a cloud-based server for analysis using a wireless network and special algorithms.

The results are translated to system alerts including a detailed GIS map of identified leaks and their estimated size.  A unique feature of the AQS monitoring system is an automatic correlation between every two measuring sensors, generating reliable and accurate results in a very short of time.
