[브라질] 이트론, 브라질 공공수도 누수율 50% 줄여

브라질 상파울루 소재의 수도서비스 회사인 마탕(Aguas de Matao)은 에너지와 물을 자원으로 사용하는 세계적인 기술 및 서비스 회사인 이트론(Itron)과의 계약으로 수돗물 손실과 비 수익성을 최대 50%까지 줄이고 있다.

브라질 상파울(SaoPaulo) 마탕(Matao)시에 있는 2만7,000명의 시민들에게 수도서비스를 제공하는 있는 이트론(Itron)이 수도계량기 데이터 관리를 위한 SaaS (software-as-a-service)를 포함한 스마트 워터 솔루션(smart water solution)으로 수돗물 공급 시스템을 현대화해 나가고 있다.
 

 마탕(Aguas de Matao)은 Itron Temetra의 고급 데이터 수집 및 데이터 관리 소프트웨어 (고급 데이터를 수집 및 처리하고 공공 수도 네트워크에서 통찰력을 얻는 서비스)를 사용하고 있다.

이 데이터는 유틸리티의 청구 시스템과 완벽하게 통합되는 온라인 클라우드 기반 인터페이스를 통해 사용할 수 있다.

Itron의 상업 및 산업용 수질 모니터링 기술을 통해 마탕(Aguas de Matao)은 대규모 고객의 일상적인 소비 패턴을 원격 모니터링하고 수돗물 누출, 수도미터 차단, 역류, 과도한 소비 또는 심각한 압력 강하와 같은 문제를 즉시 감지하여 손된 물을 처리 할 수 있다.

마탕의 그룹의 Aegea Sao Paulo의 공공시설 관리이사인 Marcos Araujo는 "우리의 유통 시스템을 현대화하고 정교한 분석을 사용함으로써 우리는 수돗물을 보다 잘 관리할 수 있도록 도울 것"이라고 말했다.

Brazilian water utility to cut 50% NRW rate with Itron

MATAO, Brazil - Brazilian water utility Aguas de Matao has signed a contract with technology company Itron to help the reduce water losses and non-revenue water levels of up to 50 percent.

The utility, which serves 27,000 customers in the City of Matao in Brazil’s state of Sao Paulo, will modernize its distribution system with Itron’s smart water solution, including software-as-a-service for analytics and meter data management.
 
Aguas de Matao will use Itron Temetra’s advanced data collection and data management software-as-a service to collect and process advanced data and generate insights from across the utility’s distribution network.

The data will be available through an online, cloud-based interface that seamlessly integrates with the utility’s billing system.

Itron’s commercial & industrial water monitoring technology will allow Aguas de Matao to account for lost water by remotely monitoring the daily consumption patterns of larger customers and immediately detecting events, such as leaks, meter blockages, backflow, excessive consumption or significant pressure drop.

Marcos Araujo, managing director of utilities at Aegea Sao Paulo, group of Aguas de Matao, said: “By modernizing our distribution system and using sophisticated analytics, we will help ensure that our water resources are better managed.”

Samuel Lee, vice president of sales, marketing and solutions for water in Latin America, Itron, said: “Aguas de Matao is now on the path to protecting precious water resources while also preventing lost revenue. Our smart water solution will give Aguas de Matao great visibility into its operations so it can proactively manage non-revenue water.”
