[미국]드레서 유틸리티 솔루션, NSF로부터 커플링 및 클램프 제품 승인 획득 

드레서 유틸리티 솔루션(Dresser Utility Solutions)의 자회사이자, 천연 가스 유통 및 전송, 상하수 및 산업 시장에 솔루션 제공업체인 드레서 파이프라인 솔루션(Dresser Pipeline Solutions)은 커플링 및 클램프 제품(coupling and clamp products)에 대해 NSF(National Sanitation Foundation)로부터 NSF61 및 372 승인을 받았다고 밝혔다.

NSF International은 비영리 독립 비정부기구로, 모든 이해 관계자의 이익에 기여하면서 공중 보건 및 안전 기반 위험 관리 솔루션의 선도적인 글로벌 제공업체가 되기 위해 최선을 다하고 있다.

NSF61/372는 수도 서비스에 설치된 거의 모든 제품에 대해 미국과 캐나다에서 공인된 산업 표준이며 현재 AWWA(American Water Works Association) 표준을 준수하고 있다. 인증 과정의 일부로서 NSF는 드레서의 제품을 엄격하게 테스트했으며, 드레서의 규정 준수를 보장하기 위해 드레서의 엔지니어링, 소싱 및 품질 팀의 상당한 지원이 필요했다. 매년, 드레서는 표준에 대한 지속적인 준수를 보장하기 위해 감사를 받게 될 것이다.

Dresser Utility Solutions Receives Approval from National Sanitation Foundation for its Coupling and Clamp Products

Dresser Pipeline Solutions, a Dresser Utility Solutions company, and solutions provider for the Natural Gas Distribution and Transmission, Water/Wastewater and Industrial markets, has received its NSF61 and 372 approval from the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for its coupling and clamp products.  

NSF International is an independent, not for profit, non-governmental organization, dedicated to being the leading global provider of public health and safety-based risk management solutions while serving the interests of all stakeholders.

NSF61/372 is an industry standard recognized in the U.S. and Canada for nearly all products installed in water services and a requirement to comply with current American Water Works Association (AWWA) standards. As part of the certification process, Dresser’s products were rigorously tested by NSF at its laboratory and required a considerable amount of support from Dresser’s Engineering, Sourcing and Quality teams to ensure Dresser’s compliance. Each year, Dresser will be audited to ensure continued compliance to the standard.

David Evans, president and CEO of Dresser Utility Solutions, commented, “This is a critical step in reestablishing our presence in the water market and allows us to bid on various projects that we were previously not eligible to supply.”  

The applicable Dresser couplings include style 128, 131, 138, 167, 31, 38, 40, 62 and 63, and repair clamps style 60/160.
