Advanced Drainage Systems 사와 BaySaver Technologies 사는 ADS 회장 겸 CEO, 조 클라패티와 BaySaver 회장 톰 팽크의 발표를 통해 최근 상호간 합작투자에 대한 합의를 완료하였다고 알려왔다.

 

2008년에 두 회사는 ADS가 BaySaver의 Bay Separator™와 BayFilter™ 기술 유닛을 판매할 수 있도록 하여 우수오염을 정화, 분리하는 독점적인 마케팅 협약을 맺은 경험이 있다.

합작투자의 결과로 탄생한 BaySaver LLC는 계속 메릴랜드 Mount Airy 지역을 근거지로 삼을 예정이며 우수 정화 및 분리 기술에 집중할 예정이다. 또한 생산 운영 분야는 지역적인 서비스와 공급을 제공할 수 있도록 전국적으로 확대할 것으로 알려졌다.

 

현재 ADS는 미국과 전 세계에 56 생산 플랜트와 28개의 공급 센터를 운영하고 있다. ADS의 제품군은 N-12 고밀도 폴리에틸렌 파이프, SaniTite HP 파이프, StormTech 우수 관리실, InsertaTee 부품, 다양한 geotextiles를 포함하고 있다. 1996년 설립된 ADS는 세계 최대 파형 플라스틱 파이프 공급 업체이다.

HILLIARD, OHIO, July 18, 2013 -- A new joint venture between Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS) and BaySaver Technologies, Inc. (Mount Airy, MD) was recently announced by ADS Chairman and CEO Joe Chlapaty and BaySaver President Tom Pank. In 2008, the companies announced an exclusive marketing agreement for ADS to sell the Bay Separator™ and BayFilter™ units, which separate and filter pollution from stormwater runoff.

Called BaySaver LLC, the new company will continue to be based in Mount Airy, Md., and will focus on stormwater filtration and separation technologies.  Manufacturing operations will be expanded nationwide to provide local service and supply. Currently, ADS has 56 domestic and international manufacturing plants and 28 distribution centers. ADS products include N-12® corrugated high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, SaniTite® HP pipe and fittings plus other storm water system components such as StormTech® storm water chambers, InsertaTee® fittings, and various geotextiles. Founded in 1966, ADS is the world's largest producer of corrugated plastic pipe.  

"Evolving requirements imposed on municipal stormwater systems by the EPA have created the need for a more complete stormwater treatment methodology," explained Ron Vitarelli, Vice President of Storm and Sanitary Markets for ADS. "As a solutions-based manufacturer, we are asked to provide a 'treatment train' approach to owners and specifiers. The BaySaver product line rounds out the ADS stormwater product offering."
