스마트미터, 소프트웨어, 서비스 및 지역 시스템 전문 클린 기술기업인 Sensus가 수에즈의 자회사인 United Water(UW)에 스마트 지역 네트워크를 배포 및 관리하고 있다고 발표했다.

Sensus FlexNet™ 시스템을 포함하는 이 솔루션은 시설이 뉴욕 및 뉴저지 지역의 고객에게 지속가능한 물 솔루션을 제공하도록 도울 것으로 기대된다. UW는 무수수량의 세 가지 일반적인 원인인 수요기반의 계량기 판독, 누수확인, 물 절도 탐지를 통해 더욱 효과적으로 물 사용을 추적하기 위해 Sensus FlexNet 시스템을 선정했다고 밝혔다.

 

 

 

Sensus, a clean technology company specializing in smart meters, software and services and communication systems, has announced that it is deploying and managing a smart communication network for United Water (UW), a subsidiary of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT, the world's largest pure environmental services company.

 

The solution, which includes the Sensus FlexNet™ system, 325,000 smart endpoints and Software as a Service (SaaS), will help the utility provide sustainable water solutions for its New York and New Jersey customers. UW selected the Sensus FlexNet system to more effectively track water use through on-demand meter reads, leak identification and water theft detection -- three common causes of non-revenue water.
 
The Sensus FlexNet system is a long-range radio network that serves as a dedicated and secure two-way communications highway and requires less infrastructure than competing solutions. The network -- along with Sensus' superior managed service offerings -- is a primary reason for UW's selection.

 

"The FlexNet communication system easily integrates with existing systems," said Dan Pinney, director of Global Water Marketing at Sensus. "That means lower network maintenance and operating costs associated with deploying an extensive network infrastructure."
