플로리다 대학은 ‘제3세계를 위한 다섯 가지 정수 관련 설계’라는 제목의 인포그래픽을 제작, 정수 설계의 시각화를 통해 개발도상국에 도움을 줄 방침이다.

 

세계보건기구(WHO)가 보고한 인포그래픽의 주요 통계에 따르면 약 748만 명은 안전한 식수를 공급받지 못하고 있으며, 약 18억 명은 오염된 식수를 마시는 걸로 추정된다. 또한, 약 25억 명의 기본적인 위생 시설을 갖추지 못해 매년 물 관련 질병으로 약 84만 명 이상이 사망하는 걸로 추정된다.

 

 

 

The University of Florida created an infographic, titled “Five Water Purification Designs for Third World Communities,” to help people visualize five water purification designs that can benefit developing nations.

 

The infographic highlights statistics reported by the World Health Organization (WHO), which states that 748 million people lack access to safe drinking water sources, an estimated 1.8 billion people use a fecally contaminated source for drinking water, 2.5 billion people do not have access to basic sanitation facilities and more than 840,000 people die from water-related diseases each year.
