[New York American Water] Spring Glen Lake Water Company 인수 계약 체결
 
뉴욕 아메리칸 워터(New York American Water)는 물과 폐수를 전문으로 하는 전국 최대 규모의 회사인 아메리칸 워터(American Water)의 자회사로 뉴욕 설리번 카운티(Sullivan County)의 뉴 햄프턴(New Hampton) 지역에 본사를 두고 있으며, Spring Glen Lake Water Company를 인수하는 계약을 체결했다고 발표했다.

이번 계약의 승인을 위해 뉴욕 공공서비스위원회(New York Public Service Commission)로 사항이 전달되었으며, 뉴욕 아메리칸 워터는 고객들에게 30개 이상의 물 관련 서비스를 제공할 방침이다.

This week, New York American Water -- a subsidiary of American Water, the nation's largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company -- announced that it has signed an agreement to purchase the Spring Glen Lake Water Company, headquartered in New Hampton, Sullivan County, N.Y.

The water system acquisition agreement has been forwarded to the New York Public Service Commission for approval. New York American Water will provide the systems more than 30 customer accounts with water service.

Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed. Together with the company's recent purchases of the Mt. Ebo Water Works and Mt. Ebo Sewage Works in the Town of Southeast, and the Lucas Estates Water Company of Rochester, the acquisition of Spring Glen Lake Water Company increases New York American Water's presence in upstate New York.
