아쿠아 아메리카(Aqua America)는 펜실베이니아 동남부 지역에서 슈페리어 워터컴퍼니(Superior Water Company)로부터 3천868명의 고객을 추가로 획득했다고 발표했다. 아쿠아 아메리카의 이번 거래는 버크셔(Berks), 체스터(Chester), 몽고메리(Montgomery) 카운티의 약 1만1천 명의 인구에 서비스를 제공하는 5개 상수도관으로 구성되어 있다.

아쿠아 아메리카의 자회사들은 지난해에 16건의 인수를 완료했으며 1만588명의 고객을 신규로 추가한 바 있다. 이 회사는 미국 기반의 대규모 수도회사 중 한 곳으로 펜실베이니아, 오하이오, 노스캐롤라이나, 일리노이, 텍사스, 뉴저지, 인디아나, 버지니아주에서 약 300만 명의 인구에 시설 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

 

 

 

Aqua America, Inc. (NYSE: WTR) announced that its first 2016 acquisition, completed by its Pennsylvania subsidiary, adds 3,868 customer connections from Superior Water Company, Inc. in southeastern Pennsylvania. Aqua’s purchase comprises five water systems that serve approximately 11,000 people in parts of Berks, Chester and Montgomery counties.
