캘리포니아 수자원 관리위원회(State Water Resources Control Board)에 의해 채택된 ‘2016 긴급 보호 규정’은 지난 2월 2일 주행정법제처(Office of Administrative Law)의 승인을 얻어 효력이 발생했다. 이번 규정은 2013년 이래로 심각한 가뭄에 의해 음용수 공급에 문제를 겪음에 따라 신 기후체제를 반영해 몇 가지 제한 조정에 대해 변경사항을 반영하기 위함이며 2015년에 제안된 요구사항을 오는 10월 확대할 예정이다.

 

2016년 규정에 따르면 실시간으로 ‘DRINC’ 포털의 온라인 도구를 통해 필요한 정보를 제출함으로써 물공급에 대한 개인 물절약 기준 조정을 요청할 수 있다.

 

 

 

The 2016 emergency conservation regulation adopted by the State Water Resources Control Board on Feb. 2 has been approved by the Office of Administrative Law and is now in effect.

 

The regulation extends the requirements of the original 2015 regulation through October 2016 with a few limited adjustments to reflect climate, growth and development of some drought-resilient potable water supplies since 2013.

 

Under the 2016 regulation, water suppliers may request an adjustment to their individual conservation standard by submitting required information through a new online tool now live at DRINC Portal. The tool will be available through March 15. Late submittals will not be reviewed.

 

The State Water Board had additional resources online at www.waterboards.ca.gov.
