[ADS] 미주리주에 신규 플랜트 확장 오픈

물관리 제품과 상업, 주거, 사회기반시설, 농업용수를 제조하는 선도 글로벌 기업 어드밴스드 드레인지 시스템(Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc.)은 지역 고객들의 증가하는 수요를 보다 효율적으로 충족시키기 위해 미주리주 캔자스시티(Kansas city) 남쪽에서 40마일 떨어진 해리슨빌(Harrisonville) 지역에 새로운 파이프 제조 공장을 세울 예정이라고 지난 7월 6일 밝혔다.

ADS사의 의장이자 CEO인 Joe Chlapaty는 “해리슨빌 지역에 우리 사업의 자취를 확장하는 계획을 발표하게 돼 기쁘다”며 “파이프 제품을 위해 중서부 지역으로 생산능력을 분산시킨 데다가, 새 공장은 제품 운송시간 및 비용은 줄이면서 지역 내 자사 상품에 대한 늘어난 수요를 충족시키는 데 큰 역할을 할 것이다. 이 결정은 자사가 계속해서 성장함과 동시에 고객들에게 최선의 서비스를 제공하려 힘쓰고 있다는 것을 증명한다”고 말했다.

6만5천 평방피트 규모의 공장은 2017년 상반기 내에 오픈할 계획이며, 단일 혹은 이중 벽, 고밀도 폴리에틸렌(HDPE) 그리고 폴리프로필린 파이프를 생산할 예정이다. 시설은 또한 자체적 운송 트럭을 운영할 예정이며 ADS사의 모든 제품 목록(ADS N-12® HDPE 파이프, HP Storm and SaniTite polypropylene 파이프, StormTech Chambers, INSERTA TEE®, 기타 부품, Nyloplast®배수 구조물, 토목 섬유와 그리드 포함)은 부지 내에서 이용이 가능하다.

ADS expands, opens new plant in Harrisonville, MO.

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of water management products and solutions for commercial, residential, infrastructure and agricultural applications, today announced that it is scheduled to build a new pipe manufacturing plant in Harrisonville, MO, approximately 40 miles south of Kansas City, MO, to better serve growing customer demand in the region.

Joe Chlapaty, Chairman and CEO of ADS commented, "We are pleased to announce our plans to expand our manufacturing footprint in Harrisonville, MO. In addition to freeing up production capacity in the Midwest for our pipe products, the new plant will allow us to meet the growing demand for all of our products in the region while helping to reduce the time and cost of delivery to our customers. The 65,000 square-foot plant is scheduled to open during the first half of 2017 and will produce the company's single and dual wall, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene pipe. The facility will also operate its own fleet of dedicated delivery trucks and the full portfolio of ADS products will be available at the site including ADS N-12® HDPE pipe, HP Storm and SaniTite® polypropylene pipe, StormTech Chambers, INSERTA TEE® and other fittings, Nyloplast® Drain Structures plus geosynthetic fabrics and grids.
