TestAmerica Laboratories는 미국 오리건주 코밸리스(Corvallis)에 위치한 CH2M Hill Applied Sciences Laboratory(ASL)를 인수했다.

ASL은 수처리 능력 및 공정 공학 연구를 포함한 광범위한 기능을 갖추고 있다.

ASL은 다양한 환경 매트릭스에서 미량, 중질 및 고농도 오염물질을 평가 및 분석하기 위해 특별히 설계된 6만km의 정사각형 시설을 운영하고 있다.

연구소장, 수석과학자, 프로젝트 관리자 및 화학자를 포함한 ASL연구원 직원은 현재 TestAmerica 네트워크의 일부로 고용승계되어 따라 고객에게 서비스를 제공한다.

TestAmerica의 사장 겸 최고경영자인 Rachel Brydon Jannetta는 "ASL의 솔루션 기반 서비스 및 특수 기능은 TestAmerica의 기술 리더십 브랜드를 완벽하게 반영하고 West Coast의 회사 발자취를 확장할 계획이다”라면서 “이것은 CH2M과 수십년 간의 파트너십에서 획기적인 사건이며 우리는 기술 지도력 문화에 밀접하게 부합하는 ASL을 볼 것"이라고 말했다.

ASL은 저수준 금속 분석, 수생 독성, 공기 독성 처리 능력과 깨끗한 물에서 복잡한 토양까지의 시료 유형에 대한 공정공학연구를 포함한 광범위한 기능을 지원하고 있다.

NELAP(미국 국립 환경 연구소 인증 프로그램)과 DoD ELAP (미국 국방부 인증 프로그램)를 포함한 엄격한 인증을 취득했다.

TestAmerica acquires CH2M Hill Applied Sciences Laboratory

TestAmerica Laboratories has acquired the assets of CH2M Hill Applied Sciences Laboratory's (ASL) full-service environmental testing laboratory in Corvallis, Oregon, US.

ASL operates a 6 kilometre) squared facility specially designed for evaluating trace, medium, and high level contaminants in a variety of environmental matrices.

ASL lab staff, including its director, senior scientists, project managers, and chemists, will continue to serve their clients on a business-as-usual basis, now as part of the TestAmerica network.

“ASL’s solution-based services and specialty capabilities perfectly mirror TestAmerica’s technical leadership brand, and expand our company footprint on the West Coast. This is a milestone in our decades-old partnership with CH2M, and we see ASL closely fitting into our technical leadership culture,” said TestAmerica president and chief executive, Rachel Brydon Jannetta.

ASL supports a broad range of capabilities including low level metals analyses, aquatic toxicity, air toxics, and treatability and process engineering studies on sample types from clean water to complex soils.

It maintains stringent accreditations, including NELAP (US National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Progam) and DoD ELAP (US Department of Defense Accreditation Program).
