[미국] 칼곤 카본, 싱가포르 상수도 정수처리 계약 체결

 

 

미국 피츠버그에 본사를 둔 칼본 카본(Calgon Carbon Corporation)과 Sanli M&E Engineering Pte Ltd(Chye Joo-Sanli Joint Venture)는 Calgon Carbon의 GAC 230만 파운드 공급 계약을 체결했다고 지난 6월 6일 발표했다.

싱가포르 초아 추 강(Cha Chu Kang, CCK) 정수장 정수처리 업그레이드의 공사를 맡은  CH2M HILL Singapore는 PUB Singapore가 이 프로젝트를 위해 선정된 컨설턴트이다. 계약 금액은 공개되지 않았으며, 납품은 2017년 말에 시작될 것으로 예상된다.

코어 탄소 및 서비스 부문 James Coccagno 수석 부사장은 "우리는 이 공급 계약을 체결하고 PUB Singapore와 협력하여 사람들에게 고품질의 식수를 제공하게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다"라면서 "우리 GAC의 사양은 높은 품질과 뛰어난 성능으로 세계적으로 유명하며 여러종류의 유기물질, 맛 및 냄새를 제거하기 위해 음용수를 처리하는 입증된 기술이다"라고 강조했다.

CCC(Calgon Carbon Corporation)는 정수처리 업계에서 가장 엄격한 사양을 충족하는 GAC(Granular Activated Carbon)를 생산하는 첨단 제조 공정으로 인해 이 프로젝트에 선정되었다.

Choa Chu Kang Waterworks Facility in Singapore to treat drinking water using activated carbons
   

PITTSBURGH, PA, JUNE 6, 2017 -- Calgon Carbon Corporation (NYSE:CCC) (Calgon Carbon or the Company) announced today that the Company and Sanli M&E Engineering Pte Ltd (Chye Joo-Sanli Joint Venture) have signed a contract for the supply of 2.9 million pounds of Calgon Carbon's GAC for process upgrading at Choa Chu Kang Waterworks in Singapore. CH2M HILL Singapore is the appointed consultant by PUB Singapore for this project. The value of the contract was not disclosed. Deliveries are expected to commence in late 2017.
