[미국] Pall Water, LA서부 도시상수도지구와 물공급 계약 확대

폴 워터(Pall Water)가 로스앤젤레스(LA) 서부 도시상수도지구(West Basin Municipal Water District)로부터 자사의 아리아 플렉스(Aria FLEX) 여과 시스템을 3분의 1가량 확장하고 2개의 아리아 패스트(Aria FAST) 모바일 멤브레인 여과 장치를 추가로 공급할 것을 요청 받았다.West Basin은 지자체, 상업·산업 고객의 특정 요구를 충족시키기 위해 5개의 다른 재이용수를 생산하고 있다.

폴 워터는 Aria FLEX 시스템의 확장뿐만 아니라 모듈식 저압 멤브레인 트레일러 유닛인 Aria FAST를 2대 추가하여 하이페리온 하수처리장(Hyperion Water Reclamation)에서 발생한 2천200만 갤런의 오존처리 2차수를 산업용수·식수로 8천㎥/일 규모로 처리할 것으로 예상된다. 급수는 고형물·유기물의 농도가 매우 다양하다.

Pall Water의 총 책임자인 탐 볼(Thom Voll)은 “우리는 지역의 상수도 보전에 도움이 되는 스마트하고 혁신적인 재이용 솔루션을 제공하기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

Pall Water expands supply deal with LA's West Basin Municipal Water District

Pall Water has won an order from Los Angeles' wholesale water agency West Basin Municipal Water District, to expand its Aria FLEX filtration system by a third, and additionally to supply to two Aria FAST mobile membrane filtration units.

West Basin produces five different recycled waters to meet the specific needs of municipal, commercial, and industrial customers.

As well as extending the Aria FLEX system, it will now add two of Pall Water’s modular low-pressure membrane trailer units Aria FAST, to treat two million gallons a day (8,000㎥/d) of ozonated secondary water originating from the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant, for industrial and potable use. The feed water has highly variable concentrations of solids and organics.

“We look forward to taking this next step together, and to providing smart, innovative water reuse solutions that will help conserve the region’s water supply in the wake of California’s ongoing drought, and beyond,” said Pall Water general manager Thom Voll.
