[미국] 홀러스터 처리장, CEWA의 최고 하수처리장상 수상

홀러스터(Hollister) 물재생 시설이 캘리포니아 물환경협회(CEWA)에 의해 '2019년 최고의 소규모 하수처리장'으로 선정되었다.

Veolia North America가 도시와 협력하여 운영하고 유지하는 이 시설은 안전, 신뢰성 및 환경 지속 가능성에 대한 약속으로 인정받았다.

홀리스터의 베올리아 처리장 관리자인 제임스 하이츠만(James Heitzman)은“캘리포니아 주와 같은 주에서 최고로 지명된 것은 큰 영광이다"라면서 "이것은 홀리스터시와의 강력한 관계뿐만 아니라 공장에서 일하는 뛰어난 팀에게도 큰 도움이 된다"라고 말했다.

이 처리장은 지난 5년 동안캘리포니아 물환경협회(CEWA) 몬테레이 섹션의 최고 소규모 하수처리장으로 두 번 선정되어 그 성과를 인정한 오랜 역사를 가지고 있다.

Hollister Plant Named Best In California

The Hollister water reclamation facility has been named Best Small Wastewater Plant for 2019 by the California Water Environment Association (CEWA).

The plant, which is operated and maintained by Veolia North America in partnership with the city, was recognized for its commitment to safety, reliability and environmental sustainability.

“This is a great honor for us to be named the best in a state as large as California,” said James Heitzman, Veolia plant manager at Hollister. “It’s a credit to our outstanding team working at the plant as well as our strong relationship with the city of Hollister.”

The plant has a long history of recognition for its performance, having been named Best Small Wastewater Plant for the CEWA Monterey Section twice in the past five years.
