인도의 물과 폐수 관련 회사인 바텍 와백(VA Tech Wabag)은 Istanbul Water and Sewage Administratio(ISKI)와 도시 전체 폐수 시스템 관리 및 운영을 위한 5천만 달러 규모의 유틸리티 계약을 성사했다.

 

인도 언론 비지니스라인(BusinessLine)은 와백 사의 터키 자회사가 국제 입찰 및 이전을 확장하는 2년 계약의 일환으로 6달 동안 시스템의 운영 및 유지보수를 처리하는 국제 입찰의 유치를 따냈다고 보도했다.

 

현재 도시의 산업폐수를 처리하는 프로젝트의 일환으로 세 개의 수처리 플랜트 건설뿐만 아니라 23㎿ 규모의 바이오가스 플랜트 건설이 예정되어 있다.

 

 

 

Indian water and wastewater company VA Tech Wabag has secured a $50 million a year contract from utility Istanbul Water and Sewage Administration (ISKI) to operate and manage the city’s entire wastewater system.

 

The Hindu’s BusinessLine reported that Wabag’s Turkish subsidiary won the bid in an international tender and had previously been handling the operation and maintenance for over six months as part of a two-year contract that is extendable.

 

As part of the project to treat municipal and industrial effluent, three treatment plants will be built,  as well as a 23 MW biogas power plant.

 

Earlier this month the Indian company won an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract to supply a 40,000 m3/day wastewater treatment plant at Al Madina Al Shamaliya in Bahrain.
