[미국] 에보쿠아, 2022년 지속 가능한 100대 기업 선정

정수처리 솔루션 업계 선두주자인 에보쿠아(Evoqua Water Technologies)가 코퍼레이트 나이츠의 2022년 세계에서 가장 지속 가능한 100대 기업(Global 100)에 이름을 올렸다고 밝혔다.

글로벌 100대 기업 지속가능성 성과 순위는 매년 기업 지속가능성 성과 순위이며, 세계적으로 지속가능성 우수성의 상징으로 인정받고 있다. 에보쿠아가 순위에 포함된 것은 이번이 처음으로, 세계에서 가장 지속 가능한 기업 중 하나로, 전체 순위 19위를 차지했다.

코퍼레이트 나이트는 미화 10억 달러 이상의 수익을 가진 6천914개의 공기업을 분석하여 순위를 결정한다. 모든 기업은 동종 업체와 관련된 해당 메트릭스에 따라 점수가 매겨지며, 이 중 50%가 청정 수익 및 청정 투자에 할당된다. 9개의 지표는 고정 가중치를 가지며, 나머지는 경제 전반에 대한 각 산업의 상대적 영향과 총 영향에 따라 가중치를 할당받는다. 23개 핵심성과지표에 대한 데이터를 정량적으로 분석한 결과 올해 종합점수가 문자등급으로 전환됐다.

Company makes list for the first time, ranking 19th overall

Evoqua Water Technologies (NYSE: AQUA), an industry leader in mission-critical water treatment solutions, is proud to announce that it has been ranked on the Corporate Knights' 2022 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World (Global 100). This prestigious recognition was announced on January 19, 2022.

The Global 100 is an annual ranking of corporate sustainability performance and is recognized as a symbol of sustainability excellence worldwide. It is the first year that Evoqua has been included in the rankings, receiving the 19th position on the list overall, placing it among the world's most sustainable corporations. According to Corporate Knights, the Global 100 companies represent the top one percent in the world for sustainability performance. Evoqua was honored as a sustainability leader for its dedication to enabling customers to become more sustainable through its solutions and service offerings and the company's commitment to internal ESG initiatives.

Corporate Knights determine the rankings by analyzing 6,914 public companies with more than US$1 billion in revenues. All companies are scored on applicable metrics relative to their peers, with 50% of the weight assigned to Clean Revenue and Clean Investment. Nine of the indicators have fixed weights; the rest are assigned weights according to each industry's relative and total impact in relation to the overall economy.
