[태국] 수에즈, 비니타이와 물발자국·운영비용 절감 협력
정수처리, 하·폐수 재이용 및 폐기물 회수 시스템 설계·구축 계약 체결

수에즈 워터 테크놀로지 앤 솔루션(SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions)은 태국의 플라스틱 및 화학제품 제조업체 비니타이(VinyThai Public Company Limited)와 정수처리, 하·폐수 재이용 및 폐기물 회수 시스템을 설계·구축하는 계약을 체결했다고 지난 2월 6일 밝혔다.

이에 따라 수에즈 워터 테크놀로지 앤 솔루션은 비니타이에 자원 회수를 위한 콤팩트한 솔루션을 제공하고, 안정적이고 일관되게 배출 기준을 충족하면서 물발자국, 운영비용 및 위험을 줄일 수 있는 패키지를 지원한다.

패키지는 수에즈의 포세이돈(Poseidon) 용존 공기 부상 시스템, PROFlex 기수 역삼투 시스템, ZeeWeed 500D 멤브레인 생물반응조, 생물학적 폐기물 및 폴리염화비닐(PVC) 폐기물용 필터 프레스로 구성된다. 수에즈는 또한 향후 5년간 화학물질 공급과 플랜트 운영 및 유지보수 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.

비니타이는 가성소다(수산화나트륨), PVC 수지, 바이오 기반 에피클로로히드린 등 건설, 코팅, 자동차, 전자 및 소비재와 같이 세계 다양한 산업 분야에 사용되는 필수 공급원료를 만드는 회사다.

SUEZ wins contract with VinyThai to reduce water footprint and operational costs

SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions has been awarded a contract to design and build water treatment, wastewater recycle, and waste recovery systems for VinyThai Public Company Limited, a major market leader in manufacturing plastic and chemical products in Thailand. The technologies and services will provide VinyThai with a compact solution for resource recovery, enable it to reliably and consistently meet discharge limits, and reduce its water footprint, operational costs, and risks.

The package will consist of SUEZ’s Poseidon* Dissolved Air Flotation System, PROFlex* Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis system, ZeeWeed* 500D Membrane Bioreactor, and filter press for biological waste and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) waste. SUEZ will also provide chemical supplies, as well as plant operation and maintenance services for the next five years.

VinyThai makes essential feedstocks like Caustic Soda (sodium hydroxide), PVC resins, and bio-based Epichlorohydrin for various industries globally, including construction, coatings, automotive, electronics, and consumer goods.
