IDE Technologies의 최첨단 기술과 생태학적으로 지속 가능한 성공을 이룬 Sorek Project는 올해 Global Water Awards의 담수화 플랜트 수상자로 선정됐다. 이 프로젝트는 세계 최대 규모이고 최첨단의 해수 역삼투합 담수화 시설이다. 

이 시설은 깨끗한 물을 150만 사람들에게 제공하거나 이스라엘 도시 용수 중 20%를 제공한다.IDE는 작년 예정보다 일찍 성공적으로 이스라엘 기본의 Sorek 플랜트(624,000 m3/day)를 완공했다. 이 플랜트는 Hutchison Water International Holdings Pte. Limited.와 합작 건설됐다.

Global Water Awards는 담수화 회사, 담수화 플랜트, 담수화 처리 분야의 세계 물 산업 성공을 축하했다.

IDE Technologies was recently named a Global Water Awards category winner of the Desalination Plant of the Year for its Sorek Project -- the world's largest and most advanced seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination facility -- for its state-of-the-art technical and ecologically-sustainable achievements. 

The facility provides clean water for more than 1.5 million people, or 20 percent of Israel's municipal water demand. Last year, IDE successfully completed the Israel-based Sorek plant (624,000 m3/day), which was finished ahead of schedule. Further, the plant was constructed in partnership with Hutchison Water International Holdings Pte. Limited.

The Global Water Awards honor achievements in the global water industry in categories including Desalination Company of the Year, Desalination Plant of the Year and Desalination Deal of the Year, which IDE won with its partners in 2013 for the Carlsbad Project -- the largest seawater desalination plant in the western hemisphere. IDE also received a distinction award in the category of Desalination Company of the Year; IDE earned the winning title in 2011.
