5월6일 도시 의회에 제출된 제안서에 따르면 재생된 폐수는 텍사스의 샌앨젤로에  6-7 MGD (22,700~26,500 m³/d)의 추가적인 물 공급을 제공할 수 있다.

수자원 공사의 임원인 Ricky Dickson는 포트워스의 Alan Plummer Associates Inc 재생된 물의 대안을 평가하기 위한 연구로 19만 달러 지급 승인을 의회에 요청했다.

Reclaimed wastewater could provide 6-7 MGD (22,700~26,500 m³/d) of additional water supply for the city of San Angelo, Texas, USA, according to a submission to be considered by the city council on 6 May 2014.

Ricky Dickson, water utilities director, is asking the council to approve the award of a US$ 190,000 study to Alan Plummer Associates Inc (APAI) of Fort Worth to evaluate reclaimed water alternatives including non-potable and potable reuse.

Completion of the study will provide the city with a list of potential projects and their costs.
