유나이티드유틸리티스(United Utilities) 시설이 Davyhulme에 위치한 대규모 시설에 Cambi의 열적가수분해(THP) 기술 사용을 추가했다. 이 시설은 Cambi의 B2-THP 시스템에 대한 2개의 계약을 Leigh와 Burnley에 수주했다.

Davyhulme 설치로 하루 250 미터톤을 처리함과 동시에 두 개의 새 프로젝트는 하루 15∼25 미터톤을 처리할 예정이다.

 

 

 

Utility United Utilities has followed up using Cambi’s Thermal Hydrolysis (THP) technology on a large scale at Davyhulme with two smaller orders.

 

The utility has awarded two contracts for Cambi’s B2-THP system at Leigh and Burnley Sewage Works via framework contractor, KMI.

 

While the Davyhulme installation treats 250 dry metric tons per day, the two new projects will treat 15-25 dry metric tons per day.

 

At the end of last year Cambi announced it had followed up its entry into the Chinese market with a second THP contract.

 

Rick Lancaster, regional sludge manager, said: “The Davyhulme project has been a great success. It does what is says on the tin and more. The output of electrical power and the quality of the biosolids product is as good as we could have expected. Now we are extending our programme of advanced digestion to a number of other sites.”
