미국 텍사스주 애빌린(Abilene)시가 햄비(Hamby)시 폐수처리 플랜트 주요 업그레이드의 한 부분으로 GE의 LEAPmbr 폐수 전처리 시스템 설치를 완료했다. 햄비 프로젝트는 시의 저수지 용량이 3분의 1 수준으로 떨어진 문제를 다루기 위한 입찰의 첫 번째 파트이다. 이 프로젝트는 애빌린시의 거주민 및 사업체에 깨끗한 물 공급을 증가시키고자 처리된 폐수를 하루 35ML 이상 Fort Phantom Hill 호수의 저수지에 배출하기 위해 RO시스템에 이어 GE의 전처리 시스템을 배치했다.

GE의 LEAPmbr 패키지는 생물학적 처리공정의 몇몇 요소와 더불어 전체 멤브레인 여과 범위에 대한 설계 및 공급을 포함한다.

 

 

 

The city of Abilene, Texas has completed its installation of GE's LEAPmbr wastewater pretreatment system as part of a major upgrade to the city's Hamby wastewater treatment plant.

 

The Hamby project is the first part of a bid to address the fall in the city's reservoir levels to below one third capacity.

 

The project has deployed GE's pretreatment followed by a reverse osmosis system to discharge treated wastewater at more than 35 Ml/d into the reservoir at Lake Fort Phantom Hill, to increase clean water supplies for Abilene's residents and businesses.

 

GE's LEAPmbr package included the design and supply of the entire membrane filtration scope along with

several elements of the biological treatment process.

 

GE will monitor remotely the Hamby plant using its cloud-based data management platform, InSight. This will help to optimise the system's operation and reduce running costs GE said.

 

Engineering firm Enprotec/Hibbs and Todd has overseen the design and construction of the Hamby upgrades.
